Julie Berry

Julie Berry lives on the outskirts of St. Thomas, Ontario. She has published two collections of poetry, worn thresholds (Brick Books) and walnut cracking machine (Buschek Books). Her poems have appeared in Canadian Forum, Grain, The New Quarterly, The Literary Review of Canada and other publications as well as in numerous anthologies including Open Wide a Wilderness from Wilfred Laurier University Press (2008).

about Gilbert White

These are part of a work-in-progress about Gilbert White who lived from 1720 to 1793 in Selborne, a small back-water community in southwest  England. He is famous for one book that is still in print in the UK: The Natural History of Selborne.
