the poetry that matters

Jesse Sangollo

Jesse Sangollo is a poet and novelist from Montreal.

Bound

Lack of turmoil

the conscious,

penumbras,

blooming before being worn away,

mirrored light falling on frail figures,

Hands

Refulgent,

Radiating

Blind dualities,

Bound,

Adherence,

Stumbling

After visions dimly lit and wavy,

Twirling constructs,

Sound stream betraying,

Rebar agony,

Spangled caprice,

Instinctual,

Innocent,

Translucency,

Futile,

Subjugation,

To such an illusion,

Peaking in on,

The pathos of,

Images cavalier,

Reckless,

Slipshod,

Void of consequence.

The cottage life

Bucolic,

The cottage life,

Under watch from darkened eye,

Vinous,

Writhing evermore,

Fey,

Ebb.

With turgid,

Reflected glare,

Earth tone shag,

Subtle mutiny,

Debauched,

Not quite,

Contrived,

Mirthfully protracted,

Putative,

Beyond reproach,

Backdrop facsimile

With pervading hues,

Ever present,

Yet unutterable,

Tenebrous,

But always in plain view,

Eventual dissipation, unrequited farewells.
